The challenge of this building is to fuse architecture and landscape. The building has been located to focus on the North-South axis, optimizing the sunshine south of the solarium and pool hall and to provide bathers on the North side with a view to the mountains. The figure of the project is based on long lateral planes of white stone running east-west. These are pierced in parts to insert the major elements of the program (solarium, recreation hall and sports hall, the stands) from south to north in an aligned spatial curve that follows the lines of ground forces to move from light toward views.
